Spatial Elements that Create the Quality Public Space

Public space is an essential element of human wellbeing and the overall development city society. This paper presents a brief outlook past present situations related to planning use public spaces in urban environments. In doing so, this addresses finding that gradually lose focus quality them, as time goes by, these are reshaping even human-unfriendly places. The purpose presented research find out what key elements create space. To achieve it, it used comparative–descriptive method comparing two relevant pieces literature or authorial approaches, Henaff Strong's “Public Space Democracy” Pérez-Gómez's “Attunement”. These examples fulfill criteria having different interdisciplinary approaches toward space, explained through periods backgrounds. It found crucial authors suggest for building qualitative well-grounded. As such, they can be implemented integrated physical form because base on factor presence experience conclusion part, suggestion was made include process designing context challenges modern living culture.
